Today, i'm talking about the new gpu released by Nvidia : the 8800gt.
This GPU (graphics procesor unit) is very cheap comparing to his performance !
To resume, the best video card , today, is the 8800 ultra ( about 700euros). Just under,there is the 8800 gtx ( about 470 euros). these 2 cards have almost the same performance.
The 8800gt, is just between 5% and 10% less powerfull than the 8800gtx... and it cost 260 euros !!!
It's THE card to have, no very expensive, and very powerfull !
The main concurent to Nvidia in GPU, is AMD/ATI. their cards are interesting , but can't be able to concurence Nvidia actually.
But AMD/ATI will release their new gpu at the end of the year ... at only 250 euros... so the battle is not over , we will see in december which cards will be in your socket ^^

just a little game ...
Hi everybody. In response to my first article, yes, I must be quiet with crysis, but I can talk about it to you ... directly ^^
However. I try this week two demo. Unreal tournament 3, and Call of duty 4. Two games very attractive !
I played a lot with their older version ( call of duty 1 & 2, and UT2004/2006).
What can I say ... Wonderful, very interesting.
Call of duty 4 has a great ambiance ! We must notice that the story is not taking place in the second world war, but nowadays. The demo is very short ( finished in only 20 minute) but we play in a movie ! It's beautiful, explosion everywhere, the ambiance is great also. I play in "la chute du faucon noir" !
One word on UT3. Same game like the older, but with a lifting. And what a lifting ! Also with an old computer, it's pleasant to play. Great job to the developers.
Next week, Bioshock , I have almost finished the game ....

This is my new blog.
I will try to talk about video games ... whouaaa it's very original !
But this is one subject that I know I can write a lot of thing easily...
I will try to talk about one game per week, or if it will be a great game, maybe two or three it depends..... hey ! I do anything I want ! It is MY blog .... yes I'm a litlle bit angry, because, I am in a class room, in english .... my favorite subject ! and I CAN'T play Crysis ! a new game which will release in november .... so now, you ask yourself why can I play a game which will be released is in november ? Maybe I am a pirate ? or just a lucky man.... i assure you i'm just a lucky person.
I have been selected few weeks ago to play a "beta" version of Crysis. This beta is created to "test" this game before the release date !
So I'm a privileged person...
My impression? very funny game, very beautiful ... maybe the most beautiful game I played !
But one problem appear to me.... it's necessary to have a new computer to play correctly ( a computer about 1500$ I mean.... not a OLPC)....
This game is a FPS... a first personn shooter ! very exiting
look at this movie...
next week ? warhammer online ? ok goodbye ^^
